Gerographic Location: is a city in Upper (southern) Egypt, Luxor area in the Nile Valley, it is Ancient Egyptian Capital.

The Climate: In land an in the deserts, the temperature vary in a great extent especially in summer; they may range from 7 °C (44.6 °F) at night, to 52 °C (125.6 °F) during the day. While during winter temperatures in deserts. They can be as low as 0 °C (32 °F) at night, and as high as 18 °C (64.4 °F) during the day.

Historic Landmarks: From the 18th to the 20th Dynasty, many kings and Queens established many temples to honor the gods as king Amenhotep the third constructed the temple of the deity Amon, his consort the goddess Mut and their son Khonsu the moon good A.K.A Luxor temple in the late 18th dynasty, it holds 20 royal tombs such as the tomb of Ramses the great, Tutankhamen, Thutmose III, Nefertiti and many more , Luxor is quite famous for the glorious temple of Hatshepsut  1) Home of Amun:The city was considered the home of the god Amun, When Queen Hatshepsut came to power, she inscribed the story of her divine birth, from the union of Amun and her mother Queen Ahmose, on the wall of her mortuary temple at Deir al-Bahri . 2) Valley of the Kings: The Valley of the Kings was the burial place for most of the New Kingdom rulers.     3) Valley of the Queens: located near the Valley of the Kings, there is tomb of princesses and princes and about 100 burials, The more spectacular tomb is that of Nefertari, the wife of Ramesses II, the pharaoh who is known for the temples he built at Abu Simbel.       4)The Karnak Temple: the Karnak complex is history of Thebes, the city of Thebes does not appear to have been of great significance before the Eleventh Dynasty and previous temple building there would have been relatively small, with shrines being dedicated to the early deities of Thebes, the Earth goddess Mut and Montu, Amun was the local tutelary deity of Thebes.
